Description

To observe in high epidemic conditions for Phomopsis cane and leaf spot (Diaporthe ampelina), during three stages: before flowering, after fruit setting, and before most of berries are touching. Vigorous varieties, with delayed wood maturity of shoot, are more sensitive. To verify the amount and size of the typical brown and polyhedric leaf lesions / spots. 1-3 = On basal leaves (from 1st to 8th position): leaf blade malformed by numerous necrotic lesions, also widespread on the petiole, the edge and along the veins; partial drying and leaf fall. 5 = Sporadic lesions on the petiole, the blade and along the veins. 7 = Pinpointed and scattered lesions only on first basal leaves. 9 = No visible symptoms.
