Description

The role of the rootstock affects the expression of symptoms on the grafted variety; to specify whether it is a rootstock, a grafted variety (indicate the rootstock), or an ungrafted variety. Observations starting from the beginning of veraison on the young leaves with punctiform necrosis, and adult leaves with chromatic alterations along the edges and intervein areas, with green veins. Bunches: possible desiccation of the tip of the stalk. Observations should be done on the same environment and, whether the case, the vinifera varieties should be grafted on the same rootstock. 1 = High incidence of symptomatic plants, even if distributed in patches, with leaf symptoms strongly expressed on adult leaves and weakly in young leaves. 3 = Medium-high incidence of symptomatic plants and clear leaf symptoms. 5 = Few and scattered plants with mild symptoms. 7 = Low incidence of deficiency and slightly symptoms on basal leaves. 9 = No visible symptoms.
