Sustainable water and soil management for resilient viticulture
The OIV joined forces with the Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), working through the Institute of Zaragoza, to deliver an immersive course on water and soil management in viticulture. From 1 to 6 July 2024, the CIHEAM Zaragoza headquarters hosted engaging sessions, both in person and online.
The programme took an applied approach, combining lectures with practical examples, case studies, and a roundtable discussion. Participants also had the opportunity to present case studies on water and soil management in vineyards from their respective countries, contributing to a shared learning experience.
