(OIV – 19/11/2015) At the invitation of the Director of the Russian Research Institute for Wine, Beer and Soft Drink Industries, Mr Lev Oganesyants, the Director General of the OIV, Jean-Marie Aurand, travelled to Moscow accompanied by the Head of the Economy and Law Unit, Tatiana Svinartchuk, on 16-19 November 2015 during the 19th International Wine and Spirits Competition.
(OIV – 06/11/2015) On 3-7 November 2015, the municipality of Bento Gonçalves hosted the 15th Latin American Congress of Viticulture and Oenology and the 13th Brazilian Congress of Viticulture and Oenology organised by the Brazilian Association of Oenology (ABE) and Brazilian Research Corporation EMBRAPA.
(OIV – 28/10/2015) During the press conference that was held at the headquarters of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, the Director General of the OIV, Jean-Marie Aurand, presented initial information about world wine production in 2015, as well as the results of the study of the rosé wine sector carried out in collaboration with the Provence Wine Council (Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Provence, CIVP).
(OIV-27/10/2015) At the initiative of the Embassy and its economic investment bureau, the main producers in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia presented a selection of wines representative of this Balkan country.
(OIV-26/10/2015) The Executive Committee of the OIV has granted observer status to the international association, Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre (WIM).
