Within the framework of developing its Strategic Plan, the OIV grants research scholarships in priority programme fields on a yearly basis. Grants offered within the framework of this programme are short term (six months to fifteen months maximum) and are provided for specific post graduate training programmes. Targeted candidates must be very qualified, with the desire to pursue their research, further knowledge and keep up on the latest progress made in their field of study and/or work.
OIV (16/07/2014) The Director General of the OIV, Jean-Marie Aurand, took part on 16 July 2014 in the 37th session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission which was held from 14 to 18 July 2014 in Geneva (Switzerland).
OIV (30/06/2014) By the occasion of the recent June meetings the OIV has officially recognized the chemical engineer António Curvelo Garcia, for his outstanding work within the Organisation through more than 30 years.
OIV (27/06/2014). From around thirty works, the OIV Award Jury which met in Paris on 24 June 2014, presented 13 Awards and 3 Special Mentions in 9 categories.
OIV (24/06/2014) During the summer meetings of the OIV, held in Paris from 23 to 27 June 2014, H.E. Ms Maria del Carmen Squeff, the Argentinian Ambassador to France, stressed how it important it was for her country to be organising the 37th World Congress of Vine and Wine, to be held in Mendoza from 9 to 14 November 2014.
